Angel Food Information

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States.  Angel Food works through churches and community organizations in over 32 states.

Angel Food's groceries are sold in a quatity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month.

• It consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $50-$70.
• The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at a grocery store.

There are . . .

• No second-hand items
• No damaged or out-dated goods
• No dented cans without labels
• No day-old breads
• No produce that is too ripe

There is no limit to the number of units or specials an individual can purchase.

• There are no applications to complete
• There are no qualifications to which participants must adhere
• Orders are prepaid using Cash, Money Order,  or Food Stamps (office only)
• Orders must be paid for by the deadline date (noted in the "Current Menu" section)
• Food distribution is usually the 3rd or 4th Saturday of each month (noted in our "Current Menu" section)
• Food must be picked up on the distribution day or it will be donated to others because we have no way to store and refrigerate it.
